The group will take place face to face and will meet for 3 sessions in total, on consecutive weeks. Once the group meets for the first session, it will become a closed group and no new members will join us.
This group will not resolve your grief, but it can help you to accept that life will be different now. Life can be OK again.

-
When a person experiences grief it can be helpful to know about typical patterns of grief. It helps to make sense of the anger, guilt, sadness and fear they may be feeling.
-
This group provides a place to talk, to receive validation of feelings and emotions from people who have experienced the same.
-
The group also provides the opportunity to listen to others who have experienced loss and to learn through shared experience.
The group provides a safe place where you can tell your story and express your emotions freely knowing others will be understanding, non-judgmental and supportive. The group is facilitated by trained counsellors from the Wellbeing Team.
