Contribution to Advance HE Fellowship Recognition

Samuel contributes to the recognition of teaching and educational leadership at 冈本视频 by reviewing applications for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). He has served as both Lead Reviewer and Second Reviewer, supporting the university’s assessment of colleagues’ professional practice and their contribution to teaching and supporting learning in higher education.

Teaching and Educational Practice

Samuel’s teaching connects entrepreneurship scholarship with practical questions of opportunity development and enterprise creation. He uses student co-creation to encourage participation and ownership of learning.

His “picture-in-picture” approach uses an upcoming topic as a framework for revisiting earlier material. Through structured visual recaps, students are supported to recognise connections across a module and organise their thinking for assessment.
